2017 Ridgecrest BIG 6 Report —
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, Precision Concepts’ Justin Seeds landed the final spot on the podium at the 2017 Ridgecrest BIG 6 grand prix. Justin’s third place finish was the team’s second podium of the year in the BIG 6 series. It also jumped Justin up to third place in the championship standings. Robby Bell made his return to racing, competing in the Vet Expert class. Robby would finish third, using the race to test his body as he returns from injury.
Justin Seeds — 3rd place
Justin had to persevere for the podium as his race didn’t get off to the best of starts. After battling to get inside the top five, Justin’s pace had him catching the podium positions. Seeds would capitalize on the misfortune of a couple other riders, moving into third place late in the race. With time winding down, Justin was consistently the fastest rider on the track and closed to within ten seconds of second place as the checkered flag came out. The finish gives him some momentum to build on with two rounds remaining in the series.
Robby Bell — 3rd place Vet Expert
Ridgecrest marked Robby’s return to racing after sustaining injuries in a practice crash in late August. Robby used the forty-five minute race to feel his body out as he builds back up to fitness. He let the field go off the start to stay out of trouble, then built into the race and moved into third place by the halfway point. He would hold onto third to the finish, but more importantly felt better than expected physically. Bell plans to return to the pro class at the WORCS finale in Adelanto.
